Repdex
A gym notebook with the whole exercise encyclopedia inside — look it up, log it, offline.
Repdex is a workout log for iPhone. It ships 1,324 exercises with animations, thumbnails and step-by-step instructions in ten languages, all stored inside the app, so looking up a movement and recording a set both work in a basement gym with no signal. There is no account and no sign-up, and the log stays on your device.
What it does
- Log sets, reps and weight from the workout screen, with a rest timer that starts itself when you tick a set.
- Browse or search the catalogue by body part, equipment or target muscle, and read the instructions in the language you choose — separately from the app’s own interface language.
- Build routines and follow them session after session; answer four questions on first launch and a starting split is already there.
- See volume, duration, completed sets, an eight-week chart, personal records per exercise, and consecutive weeks rather than consecutive days.
- Keep the current routine on the Home Screen with a widget.
No weight tracking, no body fat, no calories, no meal plans. It is a training log.
Free and Pro
The free tier includes every exercise, every instruction language, unlimited workout logging with full history, the small widget, and three routines. What you have already logged is never locked behind a purchase.
Repdex Pro adds unlimited routines, personal-record curves and advanced statistics, the four-week muscle-balance breakdown, plate math, CSV export, and the medium, large and Lock Screen widgets. It is sold as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription — the yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers — or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Full terms are in the Terms of Use.
Support
Questions, bug reports and feature requests: qinqiangji@gmail.com. Emails are usually answered within two business days. Telling us your iOS version and what you were doing when something went wrong makes it much faster to fix.
How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?
Open the Profile tab, tap the Pro card, and choose Restore purchases. Purchases are tied to the Apple Account that made them.
How do I cancel a subscription or the free trial?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside the app: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends. Cancelling never deletes anything you have logged.
Does it work without a network?
Yes. The catalogue, the instructions and your log are all on the device. The App Store connection is only needed to buy or restore Pro, and the optional usage and crash reporting can be switched off in Settings → Privacy.
How do I get my data out?
Repdex Pro exports your whole log as CSV from Settings. Everything else lives in the app’s own storage and is included in an encrypted device backup.
Something in an exercise description looks wrong.
Send the exercise name to the address above. Exercise names, categories and instructions come from the open-source exercises-dataset (MIT licence); the animations and thumbnails are licensed from GymVisual. Both are credited in the app.
